It saddens me to write this but is necessary.  I want to start with a parallel in history; Nazi Germany.  The main factors for this movement's success were that of economic hardship and a sense of ultranationalism.  The Nazi party appealed to the religious in their emotional speeches.  I cannot say that we risk another Nazi germany because after the defeat of the Nazis the world powers had to adapt and become like their enemy:  that of a police state.  It may not be as apparent but for all intents and purposes all world powers are.

We are experiencing a similar movement in America today.  This movement has the potential of becoming another 'National Socialist' movement.  The differences are actually similarities:  instead of persecuting Jews we persecute Muslims, instead of silencing concerned voices we simply drown them out.  It is disturbing to me that after what we have gone through in the past has instances that are being repeated:  9/11(reichstag), homeland security, patriot act(enabling act), etc.

I am not saying that the republican party is the only party that is leaning towards fascism, they are just making it more apparent.  The democratic party still supports our expansionary warfare over fossil resources, the erosion of liberty, and so on.  I want people to be aware of the past, because in this age where our technological advancement is at its' height we also are falling into another world war:  middle east anyone?

I am not worried about Santorum becoming president.  I am worried however that anyone would support this man; he is possibly the most dangerous person to have spawned out of either corporatist party.  I want people to note his popularity in polls- if 10 percent or more of the population support him that is enough to overthrow the current establishment.  As we move towards a global scientific dictatorship run by the same global corporate elite that have destroyed this once great nation, we still have a chance to get things at least better than they are.

What is disturbing to me is that people do not vote for candidates based on important issues.  They vote on the candidates based on trivialties like gay marriage and abortion rather than our foreign policy and our need to give welfare to unethical and irresponsible corporations.  We have the republican party with its' in your face fascism and we have the democratic party with its' closet fascist tendencies that mirror the republicans.

I would like to propose a change in the way we do things.  There will still be need of some government sectors in such areas as military and environment.  The bloated unsustainable bureaucracy, however, is a dinosaur that should have been extinct decades ago.  America will not get better, we are approaching the 5th phase of the elliot wave and will be the greatest chance for a neofascist movement to take control.  It is up to the consumer to decide our fate.

Will you continue to support with your moneys in the things you buy the same corporations(ahem democrats) that you rail against?  Will you continue your path of evolution towards one that is dependent on corporation and government for your very survival?  Or will you take a step back and realize that there is over 9 times the amount of land for every single person to live off of?  Are you willing to sacrifice your conveniences of the modern age for true freedom?  You only need three things to grow on your land to survive, which the Native Americans showed us in their culture:  corn, beans, and squash.  Of course this is more than just an effort on the individual but the community needs to take steps at sustainability.  What need do we have of a stock market if we have a strong military and all the resources we need to live localized and more in tune with the environment?

Our path of convenience ends with world war two.  This spark will begin when Iran is attacked.  East vs West will be the summary of this conflict with Russial, China, India, Iran on one side and the US and NATO europe on the other.  After the superpowers have exhausted their resources, a one world government will spring forth.  Take careful not on the world banks and their support of both sides in the conflicts- just like in world war two.  You, the consumer, has the power to change our path of destruction.

I don't expect drastic changes, but dammit can't you pick up a book on sustainable gardening or gain some perspective on the products you buy?  These politicians on both sides just want to manipulate and control you into believing that they are right and everyone else is wrong- and at the same time they have no care for you only their wealth financiers and their 'interests' like that of the middle east and oil.  Instead of falling into the pseudo-sustainability movement of using food crops for alternative power why don't we use a tried and true alternate fuel like hemp?  No rise in food prices and no dependence on foreign entities for our way of life whatever that may turn out to be.  Stop giving the power to a small group of oligarchs who control the governments; understand that it is you.  YOU HAVE THE POWER, NOW USE IT.
